I have always loved reading and drawing. As a youngster, I would pour over illustrated books and marvel at the wonderful images and vibrant colours. As I grew, the illustrations disappeared from books, but I could always conjure fantastical pictures in my head, loving the way authors described their characters and scenes in such detail that they were easily replicated in my mind.

Writing and illustrating has always been a passion. My career, as a teacher, took precedence but I would always be dreaming up stories and scenarios and would write them down for my own pleasure, never dreaming I would have the opportunity to one day be able to write full time and now I get to share them with you! I live in rural Suffolk with my husband and our two teenage girls, not to mention the menagerie of animals we care for. Some of them are featured in my books. I wonder if you can guess which ones belong to my family?

I am very lucky to be supported by my family and my husband has definitely been my muse, as well as my biggest supporter and I cannot thank him enough for having faith in me to achieve my dream. I hope that you enjoy my first published story.
